No One’s Too Old to Get Duped
It never gets done…
…this world is just too full of people who find their on way of getting ahead, at the expense of others…
and it happened again…
call me silly…but being too preoccupied with so many things at a time always gets me prone to falling as a suitable prey to people who want to take advantage and get away.
People may come and go…and there are too few people that you can trust. With each one’s life changing too fast and to often, genuine friends become too hard to find.
Five months ago, i left the comforts of my home to be in a foreign land…
Five months forward, and I picked up 2 very important lessons in my life:
- trust not the tongue of someone who lied once..for if had done it once, shall do it again; and
- there’s no reason why someone who lies to others cannot lie to you.
People may come and go…it was not until at this point that I realized…it is important not to trust anyone too much..not anymore…but myself.
